Students from Jodhamal Public School showcased exemplary talent at the 4th Ranking Roller Skating Championship held at M.A. Stadium in Jammu. The event took place on Saturday, where the young athletes secured a remarkable total of 50 medals across various categories.
The Jammu and Kashmir Roller Skating Association (JKRSA) organised this championship, providing a platform for skaters to demonstrate their skills. Jodhamal’s performance was nothing short of extraordinary, finishing the competition with a haul of 10 gold, 29 silver, and 11 bronze medals.
Among the standout performers, Gurjas Singh, Aahan Sharma, and Namish Gupta each clinched two gold medals, while Pearl Suri, Arindham Charak, Devansh Sharma, and Aamya Vashishth claimed one gold medal each. Their achievements served as a testament to their hard work and dedication.
In the silver medal category, Pavit Gupta excelled, winning two medals. Other silver medalists included Bhavnoor Kaur, Samayra Gupta, Aayansh Gupta, Viraansh Gupta, and Avyann Anand, among others, who all earned one medal each. Dhruv Sadhotra, Shiva Gupta, and several others also secured two silver medals, reinforcing the strength of Jodhamal’s skating program.
The bronze medals were shared among several talented skaters including Devansh Sharma, Divyansh Sharma, Vedang Shrikul, and Kriyansh Dwivedi. Aaradhya Subudhi and Mehransh Kaur each contributed two bronze medals to the school’s impressive tally.
The school attributes this success to the students’ dedication and disciplined practice, as well as their passion for roller skating. They described the medal tally as a source of pride and inspiration for their peers, motivating more students to engage in sports.
