Doda, November 2: Government Medical College (GMC) Doda has made history by performing its first-ever thrombolysis procedure on a stroke patient, underscoring a pivotal advancement in emergency healthcare for the Chenab Valley. The procedure involved a patient named Roshan Lal, hailing from village Dolli in Gundna tehsil. Upon arrival at GMC Doda with classic stroke symptoms, Lal underwent immediate evaluation and treatment by a dedicated team led by Dr. Govinder Kumar (MD Medicine), supported by Dr. Divyanshu (Resident Doctor) and Dr. Momin (Intern).
