Jammu, October 7 — Dr. Tahir Rufayee, the National Chairman of the National Foundation for Journalism and Media (NFJM), is set to visit Doda district on October 16 and 17. This visit is part of his broader outreach tour aimed at enhancing journalism and media engagement across Jammu and Kashmir.
During his two-day visit, Dr. Rufayee plans to engage with civil society members and conduct grievance redressal camps. Additionally, he will review local media and communication activities associated with NFJM initiatives.
Dr. Rufayee’s itinerary includes welcome receptions at significant locations such as Batote, Assar, Khellani, Doda town, Pranoo, Bhalla, and Bhaderwah. These interactions seek to forge greater ties between NFJM and local media representatives.
The primary objective of this visit is to address grievances regarding journalism and digital media operations. Dr. Rufayee aims to promote grassroots participation in ethical and responsible journalism.
