Jammu, Sept 30: The Directorate of School Education Jammu has officially revised school timings for both government and private institutions in the Jammu division, effective from October. Beginning in October, schools located in the Summer Zone will operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. However, this timing will adjust in November, shifting to 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Notably, schools situated within the Jammu Municipal Corporation limits and surrounding urban areas will maintain the 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule throughout this period.
The directive also highlights that schools in the Winter Zone will adhere to a different schedule, starting October 1, with hours set from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The adjustment aims to accommodate the changing weather conditions and daylight hours, ensuring students receive optimal schooling experiences.
